So I went on the hunt! The hunt ended very fast. I typed comic shop in google and the next closest shop at the time(that had google reviews and a website) was Ajs. So I went to the website. Instantly I was thrilled with how up to date it is. They mention 10-20% discounts on comics and that was it! Game over! Discounts on comic books? I'll take some please!!
The main walls are all lined with New/Current comics and they have a massive and great selection, plus if they don't have it, they will order it.

I also love how Pete, (Yes you Pete!) takes the time to read so many comics each week and review them for us. He even does Ajs pick of the week where he picks the top 3 comics each week so you never miss out on the coolest comic that didn't hit your radar.
When I started collecting comics again 5 months ago I started with the big shop in new london.
I've had variants covers, supplies, oddball comics and more all special ordered for me. You would think they would gouge you on special order stuff. Nope, not Ajs! They make sure you get the best price they can give, and 9/10 that's the best price anywhere!(including online)
If you want free bags with comics and discounts. If you want friendly staff that will recommend what to read and what not to read.
Go to Ajs! They will treat you right and take care of you.
People mentioned it's small, but my childhood shop was too so it feels right to me. Plus it's not tiny it's just efficient. They also have a dozen or so short boxes with back issues and displays/walls that have key/rare/grail issues.
Greta people and great selection. I'm here every week. They are the only shop I've seen bag and board comics for subscribers.
I come from Maine so when I went to the NL shop and was expecting someone who wanted to talk comics and help me find cool stuff that I didn't even know I wanted. I was quickly smacked in the face with staff who didn't care what I wanted to read or even help me find what I was reading.
